PCA @ NEC Computers
In conjunction with the NEC computers open house, there will be a series of activities like PC Demonstration, PC Clinics & Games competition held in the NEC factory.
Learning CHESS, XiangQi and Go (WeiQi) is one of the scheduled event during this festival, PCA will hold a series of demonstration and workshop for Chess, XiangQi and WeiQi players.

MIA
MIA what? MIA stands for Missing In Action. 
It had been more than 3 months since I was last seen as a player in a chess tournament. While there are limited events lately but I had spent most of my time working. A series of projects implementation had taken away a lot of my spare time for some chess games or even blogging about chess improvement (since I had none). 
Both MCF and FIDE had published their July 2008 version of rating. No MCF rated games for me while I got 6 FIDE rated games which lift my FIDE rating to 2097.

Incomplete
Yea, as planned I managed to hide at home most of the time but the to-do list is not completed as planned as I visited a potential tournament venue and discussed about it over the morning.
I did not read the book, Studies and Games as well but read another one which is the 100 selected games by Botvinnik and go for another 100 tries at the Chess Tactics Server.
There are still several items waiting to be posted at Chess.EuHong.NET, particularly the report of UniKL Open and PFS Open. Hopefully I can get them done this weekend.

Hiding at Home
Finally I will get my chance to hide at home this Thursday! It is a public holiday and I had not had any off time to stay home and do something for myself so this is a great chance!
To Do List:
- Read the book: Studies and Games by Jan Timman which is my birthday present!
- Update Chess.EuHong.NET which got tones of items I should post or edit.
- Finally, make good use of the time to rest!

First of November
