FM Nicholas Chan back to Malaysian July08 Rating List
To date, IM Mas had lost some precious 11.3 elo while FM Nicholas Chan gained 8.3 elo which leads to following maths:
- 2397-11.3 = 2385.7 ~~ 2386
- 2380+8.3 = 2386.3 ~~ 2386
If the value behind decimal point is not taken into account then IM Mas will still top our Malaysian rating list since he has more games played otherwise, FM Nicholas Chan will overtake.

Among the active players, 2 of our junior players had managed a huge gain with +98 and +95.25 each.

Justin gained an impressive 93 elo pts from Selangor Open!!
Finally, the 14 years old Evan Timothy Capel managed a 95.25 gain via Bangkok Open and National Closed!!

Bravo!!

+14.5 elo
The rating report of Bangkok Open shows that I will be gaining 14.5 elo rating points on the to be published FIDE rating list on the first of July 2008. My performance was not too good but luckily those loses were all against players rated >200 points than I have and I managed to win all the other rated games.

After this my new FIDE rating would be 2082+14.5=2096.5~~2097. Still cannot go over 2100 though…
