National Closed 2008 to start tmr
The year 2008 edition of our National Chess Championship is going start tomorrow. Well, no chance to play this year and naturally, no chance to get the latest updates by myself. According to GilaChess, he is doing that this year! Let’s first thanks him for his hardwork and effort.

Perlis Open this weekend
Perlis Open is on the coming weekend! I am glad to see another Open tournament in Perlis after the last event which was quite some time ago back in last year. However, again, I am not available for the event… Too bad…

Great Power Comes with Great Responsibility
Sounds familiar? Well, I am not some super powered super hero but there are some changes lately and as a result I has more responsibility. This changes actually resulted in lesser time for me to work on chess…
Fortunately this changes will not actually affect my possibility of playing in FIDE rated events in future but with lesser time to work on chess improvement, how can I hope to improve?

After 1 Year
Well, another 100 tries at the Chess Tactics Server and this time a more than one year old record was broken.

Highest tactics rating was finally broken after it was set at 1682 on April 07 and now I have 1688 on May 08.
May be next time will be June 09?
