MCF Rating
IA Lim Tse Pin had just published the Oct 2007 version of our National Rating via Chess Malaysia Yahoo Group.
My rating increased from 1742 to 1784 (+42 points! from 1 tournament) thanks to my 5.5/6 performance at the recent concluded Merdeka Standard Team Championship.
While waiting for GilaChess to update his website on Malysian Chess Rating, here is the MS Excel version of it ==>> MCF rating Oct07
According to Mr Lim, National Rating is approximately 250 points below FIDE rating.
1784+250 = 2034 which is almost exactly my FIDE rating…

Penang League
Current status, team-less for the coming Penang Chess League which will be on 22 and 23 Dec 2007. Don’t have further details for the event yet but most probably each team will consists of 3 players + 1 reserve.

Just found out that there are no changes to my elo rating. 
National Closed 2007 not rated? Yet?
