New GMs of Singapore
The year 2007 edition of Malaysia Open had recently concluded. I had read on many posts by Andrew about the event that GM Zhang Zhong and WGM Li Ruo Fan are having the SIN flag.
In order to serve my curiousity, I did a search at FIDE.com on Singapore players and guess what?
This is what I found.
1 Zhang, Zhong g SIN 2634
2 Wu, Shaobin g SIN 2449
3 Wong, Meng-Kong g SIN 2445
4 Li, Ruofan wg SIN 2417
So there are 2 new grandmasters added to the Singaporean list.
